The Press Club of Houston holds an annual event called the Houston Gridiron Show, a cheeky roast and toast. The theme of the event was “indecent exposure”, I designed this attention-grabbing invitation by paying homage to Janet Jackson’s wardrobe stunt at the 2004 Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston. The invitation was die cut in the shape of a black bustier, with one hand over the top. The hand opens up to reveal the event information. It was also featured in the February 2005 issue of Inc. magazine.
